Shiv ji promises Parvati maa that her fast will not be broken because of him in the future again. Parvati maa goes to a secluded spot and begins her tapasya. Vishnu appears before Parvati maa and fulfils her wish: Parvati maa will bear a child who bears all the qualities of the Shiv ji, Vishnu dev ji, and Brahma dev ji.
